What can I say folks, I'm a pretty disgustingly busy person. First off, the wedding is 8/8/2008! A date! Hallelujah! I've booked my reception/ceremony at The Bethwood, in Totowa. I'm about to book my MC/DJ-- thank you Kelly for having an awesome wedding and finding him for me!-- Oscar from Hal Prince. Still trying to agree on colors for the wedding-- I want to do either peach/goldenrod combo or blood red/slate gray/cerulean blue. Chris wants green. Oy. Finding an officiant as we speak-- not too badly priced. It was a bit difficult finding someone that was more flexible with the whole "God" thing-- but we found some people. Apparently Unitarians too.. Interesting! Next, we have had a vacation-- yes came and went already. Quite sad and went extremely fast but I'm glad I got a chance to have another lovely vacation down the shore with my honey bunny. :) I'm in school for a second semester in a row! Go me. I knew I could survive and not have laziness overcome me. Ladies, I've dropped down to a "L". Yes, not a "1X" or an "XL"-- a "L". Isn't that friggin' awesome? I'm so happy I could die. No, not really die but I'm incredibly happy! And we're moving! Chris just got a brand-new job down in central/south Jersey, paying a whole ton more. So, being the person I am, we have to have equal commutes. We've applied and are approved to move into Rivercrest Apartments in Piscataway. Pretty neat! If I'm moving closer to anyone who reads this junk, let me know! I'd love to come have lunch/dinner with you one day! Well, I would love to post some more but I've got class in 10 minutes or so. I don't know if you all have heard, but Chris Benoit-- long time WWF/WWE wrestler-- performed murder/suicide on himself and family. Their preliminary thought is "'roid rage" that made Benoit crazy and turn on his family and then himself. However, I caught this article on MSNBC.com, siting my co-worker Sam's theory of conspiracy amongst the WWE wrestlers.. Sam is linking Benoit's death with another wrestler, Guerrero, to a whole plot to kill off wrestlers. I thought he was just a little loopy for thinking that, but this article makes me wonder if that is a strong possibility now... Article Link:

Yes, I am off to California again to visit my Cristoforo. I think we are going to try to go to San Francisco this time around and go site-seeing all day Saturday. Yay for travel!

I'm going to be going out to Mountain View, the heart of Silicon Valley, to visit my fiance-- where he's been the past month and a half. I've never been to California, so I'm excited. I will also be going again the last weekend of this month. The only reservation I have is the fact that both trips will have me returning to Jersey at EWR for 6am Monday morning.. And I work 11am. Oh, I think it will be worth it. Anyone ever been to San Fran and can suggest stuff to do/see?

I've been to the gym now 4 days in a row, 2 hours per day. I think I rule. Yep, I think so.

I did it. I got up enough nerve, enough gumption to finally join a gym. :D I'm excited/nervous/happy. I even went as far as purchasing gym clothing and a masterlock combo lock for the locker room and personal trainer sessions. I'm nervous as hell but I'm not going to take obesity anymore! BAM! (sorry, felt an Emeril coming on-- had to do it.)

Over at Ken's enjoying the game atmosphere. Jeff is over too. We're going to be going to Sharon's three hour play-- Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath. I think it's going to go well. I am a little nervous about driving but I think I'll do fine. Thank god for GPS goodness.

I miss Chris so much. But it's for the best.. And there's a slight possibility that when all is said and done, we will leave New Jersey. So many things to contemplate... So many things.

We had such a wonderful time yesterday-- we were out all day! We started off our day with a matinee and watched Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. I don't care what the critics have been saying-- it was pretty damn good in my opinion. I won't say much since I don't want to be a spoiler. It was definitely done well. :) Next, we ate at his favorite fish n' chips place-- Arthur Treacher's, we went to my favorite sweets place-- Cinnabon. We haven't had either or in about a year. I thought the "chips" were rather greasy but tasty all in all. Didn't eat my cinnabon yet-- saving it for breakfast tomorrow, reheats quite well. We then bought some games for our Wii, Nintendo DS, and our laptops-- Marvel's Ultimate Alliance, Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll, and Neverwinter Nights 2. Of course, the woman I am-- I bought myself a new purse by Liz Claiborne (darker than the one on the website-- I don't do "Bone"). And yes-- matching Wilson's Leather Wallet. Can we say sale? :D We then visited our newest friend Bonnie at her work in Barnes & Noble not too far from our apartment. We spent 2 hours with her, and treated her to a calzone when we went with her to the pizzeria at Ledgewood Mall for her break. She's a great person! She has a precious child named Ariel-- like the mermaid-- and a wonderfully comedic hubby named Ed. Chris and Ed knew each other way before we all met (several months ago). They both play World of Warcraft and were in the same guild. We just did so much-- and had such a wonderful time. I didn't realize just how much I missed his company alone. I love him dearly. I'll be so sad when he leaves for California on Tuesday. But enough of that, I just want to enjoy him while he's here. Happy Memorial Day, everyone.

Chris is home for the first time in a month from California. Well, this morning, I was going to sneak off to pee and then come back to bed and engage in some fun. Afterall, no sex after a month is a no-no in Christina's book. :p I go to do my morning business, flush the toilet and all of a sudden--- WHOOSH! Damn water was spraying out the side of the toilet where the tank top meets the tank's lid. Oh lord-- I panicked like you wouldn't believe! I've never dealt with a broken toilet!! So I yelled for Chris, and sensing the urgency in my voice he came running from the bedroom. We quickly took off the tank lid and it stopped its spray when the toilet bowl finished filling. He said he was going to go get a mop and some paper towels. Now I'm standing there, half-soaked in pre-toilet water in my jammies, wondering what the hell is up with the toilet. The genius scientist that I am likes to do trial-and-error-- so of course, I press the handle to flush again. My reflex skills leads to a dry face-- thank god!-- and a soaked right shoulder instead. However, I do find the problem! The hose that refills the tank is not in its place. I tuck it back in, and again, flush the toilet. No supersoaker toilet! By the time Chris got back with the wad of paper towels and the mop, I had already fixed it. He was impressed but we were both laughing hysterically as I kept cracking about how we were supposed to be in our bathing suits and in 90 degree weather. :) A little bit of toilet knowledge gained, but I didn't get lucky-- seriously, was not in the mood after being sprayed with pre-toilet water. Maybe later. ;)

Lately, television has been rather boring for me. All I watch is Celebrity Fit Club and Charm School. Occasionally I watch Mind of Mencia (hysterical) but that's about it. Everything else is anime that I download and watch on my own time. I'm not into channels 2-7 and their dramas.. They are all rather boring to me. Maybe it's a maturity thing? I have no idea honestly. I'm just a big comedy person or real life drama queen documentaries. Anime does enough for me for serious drama. Maybe one day, it'll hit me. Then I'll watch nothing but shows like Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty and Brothers & Sisters.. Maybe, just maybe.

Running errands every day has been a little crazy. Living by myself, for myself has been interesting. I don't know if it's the independence aspect, or doing every chore my own way, or just being able to do this all for myself. I do know that I'm proud of myself for actually getting up every day with a smile and pulling off daily life on my own. This journal is designed to keep track of my mid-20s. I don't feel my "younger" journal doesn't fit me anymore-- not by name or by content. I will be incorporating plenty of photos to help me express my journal entries. I am happy with this already. ^ ^
